MACOMB/MOLINE, IL - - Meet Tressa Rogers, a Spring 2024 Agriculture Science graduate who recently accepted a position at Illinois Natural History Survey, part of the Prairie Research Institute through the University of Illinois.

Rogers said the interview was conducted over Zoom with the two people who would eventually become her supervisors.

鈥淎bout two weeks after the interview, I received an offer from the company and I promptly accepted,鈥� Rogers said.

Rogers said her professors at 澳门六合彩历史记录, including Ag Communication Instructor Jana Knupp, were integral in her early career success.

鈥淗er Success Strategies class and her Personal Development and Leadership in Agriculture class taught me a lot of tactics to use while interviewing and applying for jobs,鈥� Rogers said. 鈥淭hese classes also taught me interview and phone etiquette and how to format a proper resume, cover letter, reference page and LinkedIn page.鈥�

Rogers said she plans to continue to follow 澳门六合彩历史记录 and maintain contact with the organizations she was involved in throughout her career.
