澳门六合彩历史记录 School of Ag & the Office of Student Engagement to Host Family Day BBQ on Sept. 28

MACOMB, IL - - Families can enjoy a day filled with food, farming, football and barbecue to celebrate Family Day on Saturday, September 28. The 澳门六合彩历史记录 School of Agriculture and the Office of Student Engagement will host a tailgate on 澳门六合彩历史记录 Family Day ahead of the football team鈥檚 first home game of the season. The event will begin at 1:30 p.m. during tailgating in Q-Lot.
The event is highlighted by a barbecue ribs and brisket competition, where guests can buy tickets to taste the entries. Each team will also feature and serve a people鈥檚 choice item that can be taste-tested. Tasting tickets are $4 each, two for $6 or four for $10. Tickets and packages that include event t-shirts and tickets for the tasting and football game, can be found at wiu.edu/familyday. This year鈥檚 t-shirts will be purple and feature a fun design.
Food will be served while supplies last. Additionally, live music by the Rock鈥檔 Papas, a bags tournament and activities for the whole family will be available. A variety of boutiques and vendors for attendees to browse will be available. The event will wrap up at 5:30 p.m. after awards are presented.
This year鈥檚 event is sponsored by Clock Tower Community Bank, a division of Morton Community Bank, Compeer Financial, the Illinois Farm Bureau, the McDonough County Farm Bureau, Pepsi, Smithfield, Sodexo and the Tri-County Cattlemen鈥檚 Association.
