125 Anniversary Celebration: Madison Calvert

Editor's Note: This is the next in a series of stories about 澳门六合彩历史记录 students, alumni, and community members, highlighting their experiences during our 125th anniversary celebration. We will feature 125 individuals from August 2024 to August 2025.

MACOMB, IL - - The small-town atmosphere of Macomb led Madison Calvert to choose 澳门六合彩历史记录.

Calvert, who majors in Agriculture (Ag) Business with a minor in Communications, said she has found her experience at 澳门六合彩历史记录 welcoming.

鈥淚 am mostly in Knoblauch Hall and you truly do not know a stranger in that building,鈥� Calvert said.

She said that the feeling of family isn鈥檛 just found in the 澳门六合彩历史记录 students and the faculty.

鈥淧rofessors here are not only concerned about your grades, but about helping you become the best version of yourself,鈥� she said. 鈥淭hey constantly seek to get you out of your comfort zone and network because they care about you.鈥�

Calvert is originally from nearby Sciota and said local students should take advantage of the great education and value located right in their backyard.

鈥淎dvice I would give to a local student considering 澳门六合彩历史记录 is to think about what they value,鈥� Calvert said. 鈥淚f you value good relationships with the faculty and an inviting community, Western is the place for you.鈥�
