Kristi Mindrup Named 13th President of 澳门六合彩历史记录

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL - - The 澳门六合彩历史记录 Board of Trustees voted unanimously today (Dec. 6) to appoint Kristi Mindrup as the University鈥檚 13th president, effective immediately, making her the first female president in Western鈥檚 history. The Board will approve Mindrup鈥檚 salary and contract at its March meeting.

Mindrup has demonstrated outstanding leadership since her appointment to interim president in April 2024,鈥� Board Chair Carin Stutz said. 鈥淪he has proven to be the bold, transparent, strategic and thoughtful leader that 澳门六合彩历史记录 needs today. The board is unanimous in selecting Dr. Mindrup as the 13th president of 澳门六合彩历史记录 as we are confident that she will continue to bring insight and expertise in the bold decision making 澳门六合彩历史记录 needs. Mindrup has served as 澳门六合彩历史记录鈥檚 interim president since April 2024. Prior to that, she served as the Vice President for Quad Cities Campus Operations. Mindrup brings 27 years of experience in higher education, focused on organizational leadership, strategic planning, academic affairs, student services program and partnership development, inclusive campus environments and campus operations. Mindrup also provided leadership for the planning and establishment of the 澳门六合彩历史记录 Quad Cities Riverfront Campus in Moline.

She serves on the Board of Directors for Renew Moline and the United Way Education Council. She previously served for 9 years on the Council for Advancement of Standards in Higher Education, and served as president of the Illinois Association for Institutional Research. Mindrup has taught in the College Student Personnel program at 澳门六合彩历史记录, and has served as an adjunct instructor with Eastern Iowa Community College District.

Mindrup earned a Ph.D. from the University of Iowa in educational policy and leadership studies, master鈥檚 degree from 澳门六合彩历史记录 and two bachelor鈥檚 degrees from the University of Northern Iowa.
