Spring 2018 Case-Writer: Khadijah Queen

听is the author of five books, most recently听听(YesYes Books 2017). Earlier collections include听听(Akashic / Black Goat 2008),听听(Noemi Press 2011) and听听(Argos Books 2015). Her verse play听听(Litmus Press 2015) won the听Leslie Scalapino Award for Innovative Women鈥檚 Performance Writing. The prize included听a full staged production of the play at听听NYC in 2015 by Fiona Templeton鈥檚听听theater company.听Individual works appear or are forthcoming in The American Poetry Review, Ms. Magazine,听Fence, Tin House,听Gulf Coast,听 ,听Memoir,听Best American Nonrequired Reading,听DIAGRAM听and widely elsewhere.听Reviews of her work can be found in听 ,听 ,听 ,听 ,听Kenyon Review, Boston Review,听and other publications. She has performed her work nationally for more than a decade. Queen听serves听as core faculty in poetry and playwriting听for the new听听at Regis University, and is a Visiting Professor at University of Colorado, Boulder.
