University Communications and MarketingÌýpromotes °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼’s mission and goals to the public, as well as strategic communication services and support to the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ community.
University Communications and Marketing includes:
- News writers, an editor and office staff;
- Design and publications staff, who produce high-quality materials supporting Western’s marketing, advancement, development, student recruitment, and orientation and retention efforts;
- University marketing and branding initiatives;
- Freedom of Information requests; and
- the University's social media initiatives.
UniversityÌýCommunications and MarketingÌýstaff work with media representatives, community leaders, state and federal officials, Western administrators, students, faculty, staff and alumni, and the public. The office develops and produces a wide array of printed publications, social media and web communications, and other forms of communication designed to disseminate information about the University, its programs, faculty, students and alumni.
