Writer Selah Saterstrom served as the fifth Case Writer-in-Residence.

On Monday and Tuesday, October 31 and November 1, 2005, Saterstrom met with classes at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼. On Tuesday, November 1, at 9:30 a.m., she met with David Stevenson's Fiction Workshop. On Tuesday night, November 1, at 5:30 p.m., she met with Tama Baldwin's Advanced Poetry Workshop.

On Wednesday and Thursday, November 2 and 3, she was available for individual conferences with advanced poetry or fiction students. On Wednesday afternoon, November 2, at 4:30 p.m., she gave a public lecture in Simpkins Hall 027 on forms of atrocity, followed by a question and answer session on the craft of writing. On Thursday, November 3, at 7:30 p.m., she read from her work at the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ Art Gallery. All programs were free and open to the public.
