October 4, 2021 - Common Reader event: Dear Martin (novel)

Sigma Tau Delta Common Reader event for the English Department on Monday, October 4, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. The event will be a hybrid one, so that students and faculty can choose to attend in person in 027 Simpkins Hall or to attend via ZOOM.

Drs. Buchanan and White will lead a discussion of Atlanta-based author Nic Stone's award-winning YA novel Dear Martin (2017), and participants should come to the event having read the novel. A few free copies remain, and interested students can contact Dr. Buchanan at rj-buchanan@wiu.edu for a copy.

If you plan to attend the event in person, please let Dr. Buchana know at rj-buchanan@wiu.edu because space in 027 Simpkins Hall is limited. If you plan to attend via ZOOM, please contact chapter advisor Dr. Tim Helwig at tw-helwig@wiu.edu for the ZOOM link.
