On Tuesday, November 29, 2016, °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ Film Club and the Interdisciplinary Film Minor hosted the screening of the documentary short film Rx: Pot. The Journey for Pain Relief by Adam Colgan. Adam is a sophomore at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ from Canton, IL and is a Film Minor and Network Technologies Major with an emphasis in Cyber Security. This documentary started as a project in an independent study Adam completed with Associate Professor of Film Dr. Roberta Di Carmine. The documentary film follows Adam as he applies for a medical marijuana card to get relief from chronic pain. There was a discussion with Adam, the filmmaker, following the screening. As you can see there was quite a crowd and wonderful responses from our students and faculty. Also, Rich Egger from the radio was present and will write a piece on Adam’s documentary! Thank you to everyone who made this event a success! See the news release here.Ìý
