MACOMB, IL - - Meet Curtis Pointer III, a Spring 2024 graduate of 澳门六合彩历史记录 with a Master of Science degree in College Student Personnel. He recently started a job as a community director for University Housing and Facilities Management at Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville.
Pointer III credited 澳门六合彩历史记录 for helping him establish connections with people across the industry, setting up inroads for his career.
"I learned that in order to do an excellent job at whatever you decide to do, you must first be willing to learn, overcome difficulties and continue to try again until success," Pointer III said. "The college student personnel program taught me to be resilient, how to be a mentor and what it means to incorporate theory to practice in my daily life!"
Prior to earning his master's degree, Pointer III earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from 澳门六合彩历史记录 and plans to stay connected with the school where he got his future started.
"I plan on continuing supporting the organizations and departments that supported me for six years through undergrad and grad school, coming back for various staple events and after I become established in my field I would like to be a donor as well," Pointer III said.
