125 Anniversary Celebration: Andre Du Plessis

Editor's Note: This is the next in a series of stories about °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ students, alumni, and community members, highlighting their experiences during our 125th anniversary celebration. We will feature 125 individuals from August 2024 to August 2025.

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL - - Being a Leatherneck is all about strength and standing out, according to °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ Management instructor Andre DuPlessis.

"(They are) strong and resilient," Du Plessis said. "I am a part of a great team."

Du Plessis works on the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼-Quad Cities campus and serves on the Supply Chain Management Advisory Board at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ and has expertise in Business Strategy, International Management and Project Management. He said °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ gives students an advantage that other universities may not be able to provide.

"Here, you are not just a number, you are seen," Du Plessis said.
