Day Named Civil Service Employee of the Month

MACOMB, IL -- The Civil Service Employees Council (CSEC) at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ is pleased to announce Mary Day, library operations assistant - acquistions, Malpass Library, has been selected as the January Civil Service Employee of the Month.
Day was acknowledged by her nominators for her “wonderful work ethic and demonstration of professionalism in her contacts.” According to the nominators, Day has shown leadership skills, diligence, character and compassion in her position, and she has the ability to handle any conflicts, discrepancies, dissensions and inconsistencies with tact and competence. She began her employment at Western in June 1981 in the financial aid office and moved to the Library in October 1981.
“We are proud to recognize Mary for her character and leadership during her years at Western,” said Paula Stull, CSEC public relations officer. “We are fortunate to have her as part of our employee team.”
