May 11, 2004
MACOMB, IL -- The Civil Service Employees Council (CSEC) at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ is pleased to announce Sue Adams, senior applications analyst in University Information Management Systems (UIMS), has been selected as the May Civil Service Employee of the Month.
Adams was acknowledged by her nominators for her computer expertise with the student employment online process. According to her nominators, Adams has helped with new requests and suggested updates and changes to make the online process to run smoothly. “She is always courteous, professional and has a positive attitude,” and Adams balances her workload to complete projects on time and still manages to “put out fires” while providing computer support for several departments.

“Sue’s expertise and her ability to keep up with the latest technologies are assets to this university,” said Paula Stull, CSEC public relations officer. “Her hard work keeps things up and running.”
Western faculty, staff and administrators, as well as community members, wishing to nominate a civil service employee for this recognition should call Stull at 309/298-1967 or e-mail PL-Stull@wiu.edu.
