Royer Named Employee of the Month

MACOMB, IL – The Civil Service Employees Council (CSEC) at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ is pleased to announce that Clarene Royer, a secretary IV in the Scholarship Office, has been selected as the May Civil Service Employee of the Month.

Royer was described by her nominator as being “very organized, thorough and pays attention to every detail.” In addition, her nominator said that “Clarene treats every student, faculty member and visitor who comes to her with help with the same solicitude, professionalism and warm manner. She does an outstanding job representing her department within and outside the campus.”

Royer started at Western in 1998 as a clerk in the Foundation Office. She transferred to the Scholarship Office in 1999 and was promoted to her current position.

“Clarene is to be commended for her enthusiasm and for her dedication and commitment to Western,” said Janet Koll, CSEC public relations officer.
