MACOMB, IL – The Civil Service Employees Council (CSEC) at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ is pleased to announce that Suzanne Litchfield, a systems analyst III in the RegistrarÂ’s Office, was selected as the August Civil Service Employee of the Month.

Litchfield was cited by her nominators for being “the major contributing factor to the streamlining of course scheduling and student registration for several years.”

“Suzanne has designed and developed numerous programs that allow offices across the University to operation more effectively and efficiently. She goes above and beyond her normal responsibilities to ensure that the website is user-friendly, helpful, timely and accurate,” her nominators added. “No matter what the request, she cheerfully and eagerly seeks the answer and provides the information, always working for the betterment of the University.”

Litchfield began working at Western in June 1988 as a part-time employee in the RegistrarÂ’s Office, and was hired as a certified clerk II in November 1988. One year later, she was named a certified procedures and systems planner I and stayed in that position until July 1993 when she was re-classified as procedures and systems planner II. In January 2005 she was re-allocated to her current position.

“We’d like to congratulate Suzanne for being the ultimate professional and for providing excellent support and guidance to others. Her contributions to Western have been significant,” said Katharine D. Barrett, CSEC public relations officer.
