MACOMB, IL -- The Civil Service Employees Council (CSEC) at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ is pleased to announce that John Warren, microcomputer support specialist II in University Computer Support Services (UCSS), was selected as the October Civil Service Employee of the Month.

According to Warren's nominators, he is "clearly dedicated to serving a diverse campus community and does so in a friendly and patient manner. He has a 'can-do' positive attitude and his performance on the job is exemplary."

"John has raised the bar at UCSS. He takes the time to listen to faculty, students and staff so he can better understand their problem and makes every effort to search out solutions to fix a problem," his nominators added.

Warren began working in his current position at Western in 2005.

"John is to be applauded for his work ethic and his professionalism," said Laura Caldwell, CSEC public relations officer. "His attitude contributes to a positive work environment, which makes Western a better place for everyone."
