Policy Statement

°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ will refrain from providing any commission, bonus, or other incentive payment based directly or indirectly on securing enrollments or federal financial aid (including, but not limited to, Tuition Assistance funds) to any persons engaged in any type of student recruiting, admission activities, or decision-making regarding the award of student financial assistance.

°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ will also refrain from high-pressure recruitment tactics such as making multiple unsolicited contacts (3 or more), including contacts by phone, email, or in-person, and engaging in same-day recruitment and registration for the purpose of securing Service member enrollments.

Purpose

The purpose is to remain in compliance with the Department of Defense Memorandum of Understanding (DODMOU), as well as the Department of Education’s Federal Student Aid Handbook.

Scope (Who should read this policy)

Anyone who recruits, markets, or advertises for the university should read this policy.

Definitions

DODMOU: An agreement between the Department of Defense and °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ that makes it possible for the university to accept tuition assistance vouchers from soldiers.

Procedures

The policy needs to be on our website by November 2023 in order to be compliant with the institutional compliance voluntary audit conducted by the Department of Defense, and remain in compliance with the Department of Education’s guidance provided in .

Responsibilities (Implementation and Enforcement)

It is the responsibility of the individual to adhere to the policy. If the Department of Defense deems we are in violation of this policy, we may lose our rights as a DODMOU school.
