About the Program

³Ò±ð²Ô±ð°ù²¹±ô:ÌýChoosing Université Laval is choosingÌýQuébec City, the capital of the Province of Québec. The city is located on theÌýbanks of the St. Lawrence River, and is known for its European charm, breathtaking vistas, and unique neigh borhoods. Over half of the campus is wooded areas, grasslands, botanical gardens and sports fields.

Semester Programs:ÌýStudents can participate in a semester long program in the college of business. More information is available .

Summer French:ÌýA French as a foreign language intensive program is offered May/June or July/August. This crash course is a five-week intensive French language class worth 6 credits. More information is available .Ìý

Summer Business:ÌýLaval offers two summer business programs each for 4 weeks and 6 semester hours of credit. Please note that this program is open to students from any undergraduate discipline. The summer business program is not part of an exchange. Students will pay program fees directly to Laval. More information is available .Ìý

Housing and Meals:ÌýThere are over 2,300 rooms divided among four residences, two of which are co-ed. The residences are connected by the underground tunnels that link all buildings on campus and are less than a 15 minute walk from three major shopping centres in Québec City.

Entry Requirements:ÌýUS citizens will not need to apply for a visa. Students who are Non-US citizens will be required to apply for an entry permit for study of 6 months or less. Students who will spend more than 6 months in Canada will need to apply for a student permit prior to entry.

Health Insurance:ÌýIt is a university policy that all °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ students who study abroad are either covered under °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ student health insurance OR have purchased the Patriot Travel Medical Insurance plan through .
