Human Subjects Training听(All Training is Free for 澳门六合彩历史记录 Affiliated Individuals)听

*NIH no longer offers their Human Subjects training. 听A s of September 27, 2018 all researchers are required to complete the CITI training course for Social Behavioral 听or Biomedical research.听

Who is required to do the training :

  • Research Projects (including: honor's thesis, graduate thesis, or dissertations):

Before 澳门六合彩历史记录 affiliated researchers (faculty, staff, or student) engage in research that involves human subjects at 澳门六合彩历史记录 mandatory training must be completed through听. Once registered you will be asked to select the course that pertains to the research you are conducting (i.e. Biomedical Research or Social Behavioral Research). You will also be asked if your project is funded by either NSF or NIH. After answering the questions accordingly you will then click "Submit" where it will take you to your homepage and populate the training course you selected. From there, click on your course and听follow the directions on the screen to complete your training.

  • Training required for a class assignment:听

Some 澳门六合彩历史记录 professors require their students to complete training as part of a class assignment. In order to do this visit听听and select "register". Fill in your information and "Register". Once on the "Select Curriculum" page check either Biomedical Research or Social Behavioral Research, depending on whichever is more closely related to your area of study. You will also be asked if you are conducting any research that is funded by NSF or NIH, you will want to check "NO". Click "Submit" where it will take you to your homepage and populate the training course you selected. From there, click on your course and听follow the directions on the screen to complete your training.听听

  • IRB Members:听

IRB Members will register the same as above and select "IRB Member" under the "Select Curriculum" page.听听

Obtaining your certificate:

Upon completion of this training, the researchers will be able to print out a 鈥淐ompletion Certificate鈥�. This certificate must be included as part of the protocol or be on file in the Office of Sponsored Projects to be reviewed by the IRB. No protocol will be approved without this certification.
