Western Commitment Scholarships (2023-2024 Academic Year)
Western Commitment Scholarships are available to incoming freshmen and amounts may vary. Â
What are the requirements?
- Incoming freshman
- Have a cumulative high school GPA or 3.3 or higher
- Submit a current year FAFSA or Alternative Application for Illinois Financial Aid with °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ as a school choice prior to the start of the semester of award
- Enroll full-time in °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ undergraduate courses
Is this scholarship renewable?
- Yes, for an additional three years (six semesters) of continuous full-time undergraduate study
- Student needs to maintain a 3.0 GPA at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ for renewal
What else do I need to know?
- Scholarships will be disbursed in equal amounts between the fall and spring semesters
- Total financial aid and scholarships cannot exceed the direct cost of attendance for °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ (tuition, fees, on-campus housing, dining) and no cash refunds will be given
- Scholarships are subject to the availability of funds
- Available for domestic students onlyÂ
How to Apply
- Apply for admission by May 1 and then be admitted to °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ after application.Â
