Phi Theta Kappa Scholarships 2025-26
Phi Theta Kappa scholarships are a one-time up to $1,000 award to incoming students who are members of PTK at a community college.
What are the requirements?
- Incoming freshman or transfer student.
- Member of Phi Theta Kappa at a community college.
- Submit a current year FAFSA or Alternative Application for Illinois Financial Aid with °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ as a school choice prior to the start of the semester of award.
- Enroll full-time in °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ undergraduate courses in your first semester at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼.
What else do I need to know?
- Scholarships will be disbursed in equal amounts between the fall and spring semesters.
- Total financial aid and scholarships cannot exceed the cost of attendance for °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ (tuition, fees, on-campus housing, dining) and no refunds will be given.
- This scholarship is not renewable. It is for one semester only.
- Available for domestic students only.Ìý
How to Apply
- Awarding concludes when funds are exhausted.Ìý
- ForÌý summer/fall 2025, the priority deadline to apply for admission is August 1, 2025. Register for classes by August 29, 2025.
- ForÌý spring 2026, the priority deadline to apply for admission is January 1. Register for classes by January 23, 2025.
- Provide a certificate or transcript showing PTK membership.
