Legislative Branch

The Legislative Branch, or Senate, consists of constituency elected Senators, a Speaker of the Senate, and a Speaker pro tempore.听

The Senate represents various constituencies and seeks to enact legislation pertaining to the betterment of not only their respective constituencies, but also 澳门六合彩历史记录 as a whole.

Hi!

My name is Winter Hurst-Leadicker, I am a 20-year-old baccalaureate student in my junior year here at 澳门六合彩历史记录, I am a double major in Political Science with an emphasis on American Government, with a secondary major in History, and with one minor in Pre-Law. I am originally from the great city of St. Louis, Missouri, where later my family decided to settle on the Illinois side of the Mississippi river in Godfrey, Illinois.

I have always been an ambitious individual, I am someone who is involved in a number of organizations, associations, and companies. Which includes but is not limited to my duties as a student representative in the Illinois House of Representatives through Model Illinois Government, the Midwest Model United Nations , the American Mock Trial Association, the Associated Students of Political Science, the Associated Students of History, the JCPenney Corporation, as well as its subsidiary foundation the JCPenney Communities Foundation, and most excitingly the 澳门六合彩历史记录 Student Government Association, of which I am the former VP of DEI, and where I am serving as Speaker of the Senate for the 2024 - 2025 academic year.

Looking towards the present and future of the 澳门六合彩历史记录 Student Government Association, I intend to serve as YOUR Speaker of the Senate, where I intend to let all students from the various sects and communities have their voice heard through the SGA legislature.

I intend the student government to be free, fair, and impartial, and I will do all the can to live up to the expectation of the student body.
