Dr. Chauhan joined °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ in 2018. She is an applied economist interested in studying behavior. Her research explores diverse topics such as sentiment analysis in financial markets, economics of lying, role of consumer preferences in explaining financial and macroeconomic fluctuations, and examining the effects of economic events on scale economies, productivity growth and efficiency of industries.
She has experience with various causal econometric models, time series forecasting, deep learning and machine learning algorithms, textual analytics, and optimization. She teaches courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, Python programming, visualization and big data. Prior to her doctoral studies, Dr. Chauhan worked in the banking and insurance industry and has also worked with several Fortune 500 companies across sectors advising on a variety of business problems including revenue forecasting,  predictive modeling, inventory optimization, predictive maintenance, entity segmentation,  supplier selection, performance and bargaining solutions. Dr. Chauhan is also a founding member of the Behavioral Economics and Organization Research Group (BEORG).Ìý
