Johnson Journalism Fund Application
Criteria
- The fund can be used for students by themselves or in activities that directly benefit them.
- The funds can be given to students to pay the full or partial cost of registration to a professional conference or pay for the full or partial cost of organizing an activity on behalf of a journalism student organization including SPJ, PRSSA, NABJ, or WAF.
- If the fund is given to a student, he or she must be a journalism major or minor with a minimum GPA of 2.5 or more.
Terms
- Award amount will be determined by the Department of Broadcasting and Journalism Scholarship Committee.
Selection Process
- The recipient will be chosen by the Broadcasting and Journalism Scholarship Committee.
- Selection will be made by September.

Application Process
- Completed application.
- The applicants are required to submit a letter explaining use of funds, if selected.
- Applications should be submitted to the Department of Broadcasting and Journalism.
