Entry Requirements

Current passport processing times areÌý6-9
weeks.Ìý Plan accordingly to avoid issues obtaining your visa, airine tickets, and other necessary items for travel.Ìý Failure to receive your passport in time can lead to postponement or cancellation of your program.
Visa:Ìý A visa is not required for US citizens on programs shorter than six (6) months.Ìý
Non-US citizens must apply for a student visa before entering Canada. Visa requirements can be found on the

Health Insurance

Walking/mobility/travel - Expect more walking than on-campus.Ìý It is a mixture of urban (pavement/concrete) and natural (grass/dirt) terrain, including uneven/hilly terrain and up/down flights of stairs.Ìý Some historic sites and tourist areas have limited handicapped accessibility.Ìý Sidewalks in these areas can be narrow with uneven surfaces.Ìý

Students taking summer French immersion at Université Laval take 2 classes per program, equaling 6 sh at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼.

All courses are graded on a 4 point scale with letter grades A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, C-, D+, D, and E.
Housing and Meals
The Summer accommodation option at Université Laval is residence halls.Ìý Residence halls do not offer a meal plan; all meals are your responsibility.Ìý Kitchen facilities are available. ÌýÌý
