Pharmacy Services

All prescriptions are covered at 100% for students with °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ Health Insurance except over-the-counter medications.

The pharmacy is licensed by the State of Illinois and staffed by a registered pharmacist. Services include filling prescriptions, offering advice and counseling on medication and computerized screening for drug allergies and interactions. Prescriptions from outside practitioners, physicians and dentists can be filled if they are available in the Health Center formulary. Students are not required to obtain their medications from the Beu Pharmacy. If students see a practitioner at Beu they may still request that their prescription be transmitted to an outside pharmacy of their choice.

Hours of Operation

The Pharmacy is open 8:00am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm - 4:30pm.

The Health Center Pharmacy also offers a wide variety of over-the-counter medications and health necessities (such as antihistamines, Tylenol, etc) to registered °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ students. Refills

The Pharmacy can generate a refill request for prescriptions filled at Beu Health Center Pharmacy. The prescriber will then approve additional refill(s) or request that you make an appointment. This process usually happens in a matter of hours, but you should allow one working day to avoid any inconvenience. You can also call in refills for pick-up later.

Payment

Most services at Beu Health Center do have associated charges. Students may have these charges billed to their University Account, or if they chose may pay by cash, check or credit card(VISA or Mastercard)at the time services are received. All charges not paid at the time of service will be automatically billed to your student account. Beu Health Center does not file insurance billing, however students may obtain a receipt for their visit to file with their insurance for reimbursement. If you need a receipt please visit our secure patient portal at or you may ask for a receipt at the front desk with a photo ID.

Beu Health Center can help you obtain long-term medications free of cost if you do not have prescription coverage. You must complete the appropriate application form for patient assistance, available at Beu Health Center. For questions, please call (309) 298-1888 Ext.221
