Dr. Bridget Sheng is Professor of Educational Leadership at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼. She received her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology: Measurement and Statistics from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2007 and joined °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ in the fall of that year. Since then, she has taught courses in the MSED, Ed. Specialist, and Ed.D. programs of Educational Leadership and has provided dissertation research support for doctoral students. She serves as assessment coordinator for the Educational Leadership program and has served as dissertation committee chair and member for numerous students. She has also served on university, college, and department committees.
Her research primarily focuses on applying quantitative methods to issues in education and leadership and she is especially interested in studying school and leadership factors that contribute to school performance and student success. She has training and experiences in quantitative, qualitative, and mixed research methods, and frequently collaborates with colleagues on research projects. Dr. Sheng has reviewed journal manuscripts, book chapters, and book proposals, and has served as grant reviewer and program evaluator for national and state grants. She has presented at numerous national conferences and has published in journals such as the Journal of School Leadership, the AASA Journal of Scholarship and Practice, and the NCPEA Journal of Educational Leadership Preparation.
