Professional Development Opportunities

Welcome to the CSP Professional Development Calendar

Our goal for this calendar is to provide a space to share upcoming workshops, webinars, training sessions, and networking events for student affairs and higher education professionals. Most of these will be virtual opportunities but we're happy to include events at Western and the surrounding area. We encourage you to take an active role in shaping your professional development journey — submit your events and explore the calendar for events that may interest you or your colleagues.

Conferences and Conventions

In the ever-evolving landscape of higher education, professional development and networking are essential. Conferences and conventions — regional, national, and international — provide invaluable opportunities for you to connect, share insights, and explore innovative practices.

This list highlights some of the most notable conferences dedicated to enhancing the student experience, fostering leadership, and addressing the pressing challenges faced by institutions today. Whether you’re seeking to expand your knowledge, engage with thought leaders, or collaborate with peers, these events are designed to inspire and empower professionals in the field. If we are missing any events you think need to be added, please email us at csp@wiu.edu. Events are not in any particular order.
