Rashmi Sharma is Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ in the School of Education (SoE). She also  provides educational technology support for the College of Education and Human Services (COEHS). She manages and oversees the College's Instructional Multi-Media (IMM) Lab, assist faculty and students with infusing technology into instruction and their future careers, develop and implement an overall technology plan for the College. She earned her doctorate in Educational Studies- Educational Administration (2016); and master's degree in International Affairs, with a major in Communication and Development (2012) at Ohio University. 

Rashmi is the recipient of the Ford Foundation’s International Fellowships Program (IFP) and American Association of University Women (AAUW) International Fellowship for her social justice scholarship and initiatives. Currently, she is serving as President for Mid-Western Educational Research Association (MWERA). Underlying her teaching and research interests is a passion for social justice issues, equity, and inclusion in higher education. She is also actively engaged as a Board of Directors for the Gulf Coast Diplomacy Council (GCDC), an editorial member of the Journal of International Students (JIS), and is a reviewer for various journals with a focus on comparative studies, international students, and community development. For over eight years, she worked with national and international organizations for marginalized rural mountain communities in the western Himalayan region of India.
